Description
Welcome to the 2019 Oregon Watershed Management Camp offered by the Network of Oregon Watershed Councils.
This event is back by popular demand and offers a great networking and training opportunity for watershed council staff in Oregon.
The two-day camp includes workshops on both technical and organizational topics, featuring some of the most successful approaches to social media and community engagement, fundraising, long-term monitoring, and watershed restoration. There will also be sessions geared towards newer coordinators." Friday afternoon will feature a tour of the "Stage 0" restoration site on the South Fork McKenzie River hosted by the McKenzie Watershed Council and U.S. Forest Service. Watershed Management Camp will be a unique opportunity to share and network with fellow watershed council staff around the state in a small, casual setting.
Plan to arrive in time to start at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 16 and stay through the full day on Friday, May 17. You may register for one night or two- our aim is to keep the event affordable, so the rooms are double occupancy unless you specify otherwise (A limited number of single rooms are available for a $56 additional surcharge).
